CSD will operate on a 2 Hour delay on 2/4/2026

Community School of Davidson will operate on a Two-Hour Delay on Wednesday, February 4th.

Lower School: MS begins at 10:05; Elementary begins at 10:15 AM. Carpool begins at 9:45 AM. Staff are expected to be on-site by 9:30 AM.

Upper School will begin at 10:05 AM and carpool begins at 9:30 AM. Staff are expected to be on-site by 9:30 AM. The unique Bell Schedule for the Upper School will be posted prior to the start of the school day.

Mrs. Foreman will be communicating the plan for RIPPLE.

Satellite buses will run on a two-hour delayed schedule.

Good afternoon Community School of Davidson,


We hope today has been a productive Remote Learning Day. As we continue to monitor our conditions in the region, especially with our secondary roads, I am writing to share that Community School of Davidson will have a Remote Learning Day on Tuesday, February 3rd.


North Carolina law allows public charter schools to use up to five (5) remote learning days per academic year to replace in-person instruction due to severe weather or emergencies. Once the five remote days are exhausted, public school units (PSU’s) must use banked time or add make-up days to the calendar. Tomorrow will be our third Remote Learning day.


Last Monday (January 26th), we utilized our one “banked” day built into the 2026-2027 academic calendar. 


More specific details for your individual student(s) will again come from your respective school and/or teacher, including attendance requirements. All extracurricular activities on-campus are cancelled.


Families who ordered lunch will receive credit on their lunch account.


Please make sure to continue to monitor Parent Square for any and all urgent communications, weather-related or otherwise. If there are no changes to school operations, then please do not expect any type of notification.
